At-home Exercise: Deck of Card Fitness

Being physically active doesn’t mean you have to belong to a gym. You can develop your own workout routine right in the comfort of your own home.

For this workout, you will need:

  • A deck of cards (if you don’t have a deck of cards, you can create a deck of your own)
  • Comfortable shoes and clothes
  • Water
  • A mat or towel
  • A little imagination

Before starting an exercise routine, you should speak with your physician. If you are new to exercising, start slow and work your way up. Whenever participating in a strength training exercise program, allow yourself at least 24-48 hours between exercise days to allow your muscles time to rest.
